Das Team des CCDo-Bildungszentrum Brackel e. V. stellt in diesem Jahr gleich zwei neue Programmhefte (Kinder und Jugendliche, Erwachsene mit Sonderteil Senioren) mit über 150 Bildungsangeboten für Jung und Alt vor. Kinder und Jugendliche Neu in diesem Jahr sind die vom Verein angebotenen Bildungs- und Ferienfreizeiten für Kinder und Jugendliche. Von der Erkundung des Lebensraumes Wattenmeer, über eine Fotosafari, eine Sommerfreizeit in Süd-Frankreich bis zum CODING-CAMP ist für alle was dabei....

Der Brackeler Einzelhandel wird um ein weiteres Angebot vor Ort ärmer: Die Buchhandlung Niehörster muss Ende Januar ihre Pforten für immer schließen. „Unsere Kunden waren entsetzt“, berichtet Klaus Niehörster (68), Inhaber der gleichnamigen Buchhandlung am Brackeler Hellweg. „Wir hatten sehr viele Stammkunden, mit denen wir Gespräche über Bücher hinaus geführt haben.“ Viele kleine und mittlere Buchhandlungen seien momentan von der Schließung bedroht.
